The Plumbing Value Protection Program (VPP)

In order to keep your plumbing system reliable, effective, and safe, our Master Plumbers recommend signing up for our Value Protection Program.

This program includes many necessary services for your fixtures and plumbing system components, including:

• Water heaters: Our licensed plumbers will inspect the burner assembly on your gas water heater, visually check the temperature and relief valve to ensure it’s safe for operation and free of any corrosion, and check the vent assembly for any visible defects and/or leakage. If you have an electric water heater, we will ensure the thermostat is set to the proper temperature. We will also make sure the entire unit is operating at peak efficiency and according to manufacturer expectations. This is important to have done at least once a year in order to comply with requirements for manufacturers’ warranties.It will also save you money on your bills because your unit will be as energy efficient as possible.
• Kitchen faucets: Perhaps the most used faucets in your home, it’s important that these receive annual inspections for any leaks or corrosion. At this time, our plumbers will also inspect the faucets for ease of operation and clean all aerators as needed in order to ensure proper flow of water throughout your home. Having this done on a regular basis will extend the lifespan of your faucets and help prevent premature replacements.
• Toilets: We will inspect the toilet tank for any leaks and ensure there is proper flushing action. We will also visually check the water level control valve for proper adjustment along with the flapper for a proper water seal. The float ball, overflow tube, and any linkage will be inspected per the manufacturer’s specifications. This service is important in order to reduce water waste, save money, and drastically reduce the chances of a stoppage due to difficulties flushing solid waste.
• Water pressure regulator: We will check the water pressure of the incoming water line and notify you of any adjustments that need to be made. High water pressure is dangerous and can result in damages to your water heater and fixtures as well as a burst pipe. Having your water pressure checked reduces wear and tear on your fixtures which helps extend their lifespan.
• A safety check of your home: During this, we will perform a thorough inspection of your entire plumbing system, making sure to tighten any loose connections and making any other minor repairs needed. We will test all the emergency shut off valves to ensure they will operate in the event of an emergency. We will also inspect any gas connectors and exposed piping to ensure they’re in optimal condition. We will also install tags to show your family members where all emergency shut off valves are located.
